So first there was this test where you pick words that describe you or how you work and how you want others to be. After I sent that back, we did some email stuff to schedule a video call, which happened a few days later. The video interview was pretty professional but also chill. They introduced the company, explained the role, and then asked me about my past jobs, like the size of the company, their work ethic, how many people worked there, and where it was located.
Had phone interviews, then an in-person interview with the CEO and some other employees. Spent about an hour 1-on-1 with the owner, talking about my background, the position, and the company's future. It was a really unique, candid interview, almost like a conversation!
The CEO/founder and I interviewed each other several times over 3-4 months via phone and in person as this was a new role for the company, we wanted to be sure it was a good fit on both ends.
