The interview process was great, started with a phone screen and then I interviewed with HR and someone from R&D. It was nice getting to know the team and the work environment. I really enjoyed the process overall, it felt fair and they asked typical questions.
I had 4 interviews. First with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by a director, and finally the VP. The VP was 16 minutes late to our call. He wasn't pleased that I reached out to the recruiter to check if the call was canceled, and he hadn't even looked at my resume before our meeting. He was asking my name and opening the file during the call. He asked two questions that were completely unrelated to the role and seemed curious about my origin.
The interview experience was decent. It was a behavioral interview. The interviewer asked good questions, but it was a bit strange that they were eating an apple during the interview. The atmosphere was good overall.
