Started with a phone screen with HR and the VP of the business unit. Then, there was a sit-down panel interview with two team members and HR. The VP was in a different state so they couldn't be part of the sit-down.
The process was pretty easy, mostly behavioral. It started with a phone screen and then an in-person interview. I only talked to one person during the in-person. It was really informal, they just wanted to see if I was a normal person and understood some REIT basics. I think knowing a little about the company and reading recent articles is important.
I had a total of three interviews, with one happening over the phone and the other two in person. The phone interview was pretty relaxed and mainly about my background and what interests me. After that, I was invited to come into the office to meet the team. I met with about four or five people. This part felt very informational and mostly about whether I'd be a good fit for the company. Then, I got invited back to meet the President of the firm. This last step felt like a formality because the interview was really quick and just a chat. The whole interview process was pretty stress-free and took about 2 to 3 weeks.
