It took over a month! A lady from HR emailed to say they were interested in interviewing me and asked for my availability. I replied, but didn't hear back for almost a week, so I emailed again to check in. She then scheduled a call. After that, she mentioned they'd schedule a second interview, which took another week. They sent me a project, which felt like they wanted free consultation. After I submitted it, they asked me to present it. Then, they said they needed to schedule a fourth interview with every team member, which felt like a waste of time.
Usually I don't write reviews but I do when I am pretty sure they are asking questions and having interviewees create business presentations when they want these things done and not want to pay consultants or hire people to do the work.
The process started with a friendly recruiter call where they discussed the company and life there, then set up a tech interview. Unexpectedly, the recruiter contacted me after the scheduled time, realizing the tech interview hadn't happened. They apologized for the mix-up and offered to reschedule, which I accepted. The next day, the tech interviewer explained the original person was unavailable due to an emergency and he was taking over, despite not being prepped. He spent most of the 45 minutes discussing the company and himself, and only asked one technical question about Git.
