The interview process was smooth and well-coordinated. The team guided me through the process until the interview, and communication was clear. The interview was conducted face-to-face. I was asked to write code on paper instead of using a system. The technical round included: 2 SQL questions and 1 Python coding question. Overall, it was a good experience with supportive coordination from the team.
Recruiter Screening: 3 to 4 Rounds. This stage is to check if the candidate fits the Job Description and expectations of the role. Team Panel Interview: This is to assess the technical aspect of the job and team chemistry. Hiring Manager Interview: This is to assess the technical aspect and culture fit. Director Interview: This is to assess company culture fit.
I had a phone chat with a recruiter and then met the hiring manager in person. It seemed like a standard interview, and they told me it went really well. They promised to let me know their decision before the week ended. But I heard nothing, not even a reply to my follow-up email. I was ghosted, which was really unprofessional.
