Candidate-reported interview process

The interview steps were: first a phone call, then a technical interview over Zoom where we did coding, then another technical interview on Zoom focusing on architecture and design, followed by an HR interview, and finally an interview with the VP of R&D. I almost didn't do it but I'm glad I did. Everyone was nice, smart, and cared about their engineers learning and growing.

It was a quick process, but they dug into the technologies on my CV. The questions were pretty specific. I also had a data analysis take-home assignment which was pretty cool, not too long but it tested some important stuff.

I had three 1.5 hour technical interviews with a senior engineer, a team leader, and an R&D manager, plus a 1 hour HR interview. I made it through everything but didn't get the job in the end.
