Candidate-reported interview process

The interview for Senior Front End Developer involved some Javascript questions covering scope, closures, hoisting, and the 'this' keyword. It felt a bit off because the main interviewer didn't seem very engaged, and there was another person just observing, which made me feel like I was being scrutinized more than usual.

First, I had a screening interview with a developer on staff. They asked me basic questions about JavaScript, like variable scope and a basic algorithm. After that, there were more interviews, most of them technical.

I spoke with the team lead, and we talked about my previous work and what I've done. They asked me to sketch out how a project worked. It was a good chat, I felt good about it.
