Got referred by a friend and after a few days, HR reached out to schedule a call. They asked about my background and past projects. Then, HR set up an on-site technical interview with the Team Lead. It was about an hour, covering my background and projects, and then a system design question for a URL shortening service. Sadly, got rejected three days later, but both interviewers were nice.
First, there was a phone call with HR to get invited to the interview. Then, two technical questions were asked. The final round was with the CTO and VP of R&D (sometimes the main architect instead).
The entire interview process involved a phone interview, a technical interview, a system design interview, and finally a VP RND & HR interview. Although the people I spoke with were very nice, the interviews were conducted over Zoom, and they kept asking questions while I was trying to think or code, which made the coding part a bit challenging.
