Candidate-reported interview process

The hiring process involved four steps: first, a one-hour work sample; then, a Zoom interview with the project lead; next, an in-person "super day" that included a work sample and interviews; and finally, a take-home work sample.

I applied for this entry-level Policy Analyst role on Linkedin, and after matching all the qualifications, I was happy. However, I got rejected within 20 minutes, before I even had a chance to send more attachments via email.

I was sent a very simple calculation work sample, which I submitted as required. However, I was immediately rejected and I still don't know why. It felt like a waste of time.
