Candidate-reported interview process

The whole process took a while, over two weeks, to get to the hiring manager interview. It started with an HR phone screen via video, then a take home assignment where I had to do a case study on ad monetization, and finally a video interview with the hiring manager.

The hiring process moved quickly. I received an initial phone call the day after applying. Unfortunately, the recruiter's conduct was terrible. She seemed uninterested in my background and mostly read questions from a list. She sometimes interrupted me, which was awkward and unprofessional, as if she just wanted to finish her task quickly. Most surprisingly, she seemed to judge me when I asked clarifying questions. It's baffling that the company would hire such an unprofessional recruiter. It was an awful experience!

Had a very down to earth conversation with the CEO and COO.
