First, I spoke with a recruiter who gave me an overview of the company and the role. Then, I had individual interviews where I could ask specific questions to each person. The conversations were pretty open, and we delved into how the industry uses certain applications.
The interview process was quick and straightforward, with the interviewers communicating directly. The interview itself was a refreshing change of pace; it felt more like a conversation than a traditional Q&A session.
A recruiter reached out, and they seemed really positive. They gave me a coding challenge with a couple of questions on for loops, if statements, and basic OOP, which I got done. Then I set up a meeting with a hiring manager. The hiring manager chatted about their development team and how they work. I didn't hear back for about 1.5 weeks. Eventually, the recruiter called to say the hiring managers decided not to move forward, but they wouldn't give any reasons. It's pretty bad hiring practice to not give any feedback.
