The wide salary range in the job posting and the questions asked during the screen call suggest they are looking for candidates willing to accept lower salaries. The HR screen call was off-putting and felt informal. Questions were read from a script, limiting the ability to discuss relevant experience outside of your current role. I'd advise being upfront about your salary expectations to avoid wasting time with this company, as their unprofessionalism was quite surprising.
Got a referral from someone there. The interview process was really long, took about 6 weeks with 3 interviews. First up was a quick call with a recruiter who just asked basic screening stuff. About two weeks later, I had a webcam interview with four managers/engineers. They dug into my resume and asked about my past work. The last interview was in person, about three weeks after the second one, with six managers/engineers. They sent over a prompt a few days before to prepare a 20-minute presentation on a surgical procedure. Then, for about an hour and a half, they hit me with technical questions, questions about how the interview was going, and questions about my previous jobs.
I had a phone interview, then a video call. The last interview was in person at their Rancho Santa Margarita office. It involved tours and several interviews that lasted about 5 hours and included behavioral and technical questions.
