Candidate-reported interview process

The first step is to get to know you and see if your values fit with Applied Medical. They wanted to check how you would act and react when they asked you random questions like, "Tell us about yourself" and "How would you behave/react in situation X?".

Straight forward questions about past experiences and school projects. Was a previous intern so talked about what tasks I completed then. Total of 5 on the panel, nothing too intense as this was an entry level position.

The process started with a recruiter call where they took a lot of notes and asked more technical questions than expected. After that, I was invited to a panel video interview. It was strange because the interviewers' names were kept secret and they didn't introduce themselves, just said their names. They were in a conference room and joined via the TV screen. A major red flag was that they wouldn't discuss their roles or what they were looking for. Overall, it felt very unprofessional and disorganized, like a one-way interrogation rather than an interview.
