Candidate-reported interview process

I had two 30-minute interviews with the hiring managers. It was a good experience. They elaborated on the job description and the training provided. I got the offer a week later.

I was asked many technical questions about thin film and physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition. The focus was on my previous project about semiconductive industrial. They tend to hire people with physics, semiconductive, manufacturing background.

The recruiters were not very responsive, and I had to follow up a lot. The online application system seems to be broken and needs improvement. AMAT could really do better with its interview process and overall candidate experience. Hopefully, they can make some changes and keep up their good reputation.
