I applied online and HR called me for an initial round in Dec 2021. Then, on Jan 6, 2022, I had a 40-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager/technical team member for this entry-level position. I felt it went well, and I was told HR would update me. After two weeks of no reply, I followed up, and then emailed the interviewer, who said he'd check with HR, but still no response. I messaged HR on LinkedIn, but got no reply. I'm frustrated because, even if they found a closer candidate, I feel I deserve to know after following up. My suggestion is to give candidates feedback; it's disrespectful not to, and we could still be in touch for the future.
The interviewer was knowledgeable and really seemed to care about what I wanted in a job. After that, there was another interview. All in all, it was a good experience.
The interview process involved questions about projects I worked on, my role, and how I handled work culture and team interactions. They asked work-related questions to gauge my depth of understanding. It involved a recruiter call, then a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview.
