So I applied for this Assistant Manager job online, and like a week after, they called me for a phone screening. It was a quick chat with HR about my background and why I wanted the job. Then, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager where we talked more about my management style and how I solve problems. They asked some tough but fair questions about handling team conflicts and improving performance. After that, I did a panel interview with some senior leaders, which was more about seeing if I'd fit in and what my long-term goals were. The whole thing felt pretty organized and gave me a good sense of what the company is looking for.
The interview process felt laid back, and the manager seemed eager but disorganized. They were working from a notebook and didn't have specific interview questions prepared. The office environment was very messy. I'm unsure about the position because it seems like it would require sacrificing personal life and family time.
great experience they were very thorough in their examination and very transparent. the interviewers were friendly and took their time in getting to know me and understand my needs and wants for a career
