Best interview process I’ve had in years. Really professional and I went all the way to the final round. I’m bummed I didn’t get an offer but overall it was a great experience.
It was a contract to hire situation so it was pretty seamless. I had already been doing the job for a few years at that point, so I already knew the hiring manager and everyone on the team. The hiring manager reached out to me and checked my interest and I had a few phone calls with a recruiter to negotiate pay. They were pretty strict and didn’t completely meet my pay expectations, which was kind of frustrating but overall the process was pretty easy and I didn’t go through a formal interview channel.
Behavioral interviews and a case question at the end that tests storytelling, with a final presentation that can be on any topic, it’s very Apple. People are very kind and it’s culture driven, not the typical case questions.
