Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process went pretty well. First, I had a conversation with HR. Then, they gave me a take-home assignment which was pretty hard. Sadly, due to the Iran war starting, I couldn't finish it on time. The HR person called, understood my situation, and gave me more time. I didn't get the job in the end, but they did give me some feedback. It was an okay experience overall.

I went through 5 rounds of interviews, some in person and some remote. After all that, they ghosted me. I really wish they would have at least told me why I didn't get the job.

So the whole process had 3 stages. The first two interviews were great, honestly. The people interviewing me were super professional and nice, making me feel good about the company initially. Then, for the last part, I got this case study that took me more than 10 hours to prep for. I nailed the presentation and they said I'd hear back soon. But, like, weeks went by and I got nothing, not even a rejection. It was pretty disappointing after putting in so much work.
