It was a long and thorough interview process designed to ensure that only the smartest people who fit the company culture were hired. There were many steps involved. I had phone interviews with HR, my peers, my first-line manager, and senior executives. Then, I had in-person interviews with senior executives both in my local market and at the corporate office, where I also met with other individuals, including the CEO.
The process was pretty long, and included several interviews with the departmental manager and teammates. I heard that some candidates interviewed with people across different levels, which was helpful for both the candidate and Appirio because everyone got different insights.
This was a pretty long interview process, with about 5 rounds of phone/Skype calls, followed by a long in-person interview where I met with 4 different people. They really put in the effort to find the right person. Each talk was a chance to get to know a different part of the team, and it felt like everyone was really invested in the company. I've never been through a more respectful and transparent process, which is great whether you get an offer or not. These folks genuinely care and are awesome to talk to.
