AppDynamics Recruiter interviews, decoded.

Had an initial chat with an internal recruiter, it was really conversational. She said she'd get back to me with feedback by early next week but never did, even after I sent a follow-up email. About a month later, I got an automated rejection from Appdynamics. The recruiter never bothered to follow up as promised, which was a bad way to handle it.

The interview process was fast and clear. I got an email from the recruiter and had my first phone interview the next day, Friday. Then, I had a second phone interview with the hiring manager the same day. They scheduled an onsite interview for the following Tuesday. I got the offer the next day and accepted it. Everyone at Appdynamics was friendly, nice, and really passionate about their work. Both phone interviews were 30 minutes each and focused on behavioral questions. The onsite took about 3.5 hours and I met the entire RC team plus some TA folks.

Interviewed with key leaders of the TA team, had 3 separate calls. We talked about the company in detail and I went through the types of candidates I had recruited successfully in the past.
