The interview was supposed to be 30 minutes, but the hiring manager hogged most of the time. After quick intros, they asked if I knew Appcues and their software, which I did. Then, they spent 10 minutes explaining the company and product, followed by a 6-minute rundown of the job that could've been quicker. I only got about 5 minutes at the end to ask two questions and a couple of minutes for next steps. So, I had maybe 7 minutes total to show I was a good fit. Not surprised I didn't move forward, considering I barely got to speak. Too bad, I would have been perfect for the role.
I really enjoyed the interview process and the hiring team I spoke with. I got the sense it was a very supportive and innovative culture. I went through the final round of interviews and ultimately they chose a candidate with more experience and encouraged me to apply again. I would have but no longer work in tech.
This was a really organized and clear interview process. Everyone I talked to asked good questions and also answered mine thoroughly. I never felt rushed at all. I got the offer in less than three weeks after the first interview. The first interview was a 30-minute phone screen with the Recruiter. Then, a 30-minute Zoom with the hiring manager. After that, a 30-minute Zoom with a current AE. The next step was a 30-minute Zoom with the Director of Growth Marketing. Finally, a 30-minute Zoom with the Director of Marketing & Sales.
