Candidate-reported interview process

The interview started with a phone call where they explained the hiring process and the company. After that, I took a programming test. I didn't hear back for another interview after finishing the test.

after I applied online, they emailed me. Since I was applying from another state, they told me the whole process would be over Skype and phone, which I appreciated. First, there was a screening call, then they sent me an exercise. I sent it back the next day. Unfortunately, after a few days, they told me I did well but the position was filled.

I applied online and got a coding test, which was standard IOS stuff. It involved async POST and loading images from the web into a tableview. I sent my project back, and three days later they messaged me saying my programming skills weren't what they were looking for, which confused me since I followed all instructions precisely. I never got to talk to a programmer or get advice on how to improve.
