I got an email from the HRD who liked my resume. We scheduled an interview. She was late, didn't seem engaged, didn't say much about next steps, and basically brushed me off instead of explaining professionally. She never followed up to wrap things up. For a director level, you'd expect a better candidate experience.
Started with a recruiter chat, then had a follow-up with the clinical team. They asked some general questions about why I'm interested in the ER, then some less specific clinical questions to understand my thinking and how I'd approach treatment options. In total, about 15-20 questions came up regarding diagnosis and treatment.
It was pretty laid-back and informal. We just talked about my background and what I'd do in certain scenarios. The team was seeing patients and chatting during the interview. I also got a tour of the department.
