the interview was straightforward. It started with a behavioral interview with the team manager, and then a panel interview with four teammates. It went okay. I noticed the manager wasn't super interested in interviewing me, so it was short and simple. Not the kind of workplace I was looking for long term.
The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by meeting the hiring manager and potential team members. Then, there was an assignment, and finally, a presentation to the team and hiring manager.
The recruiter kept me in the loop. There were supposed to be 4 rounds, but I only made it to the 3rd. The first was with the recruiter, the second with the team lead, and the third with the team members. In talking with the more junior engineers, they seemed really interested in whether I had decision-making experience with the technologies I've used. They also seemed to assume I didn't have experience with tools/systems if they weren't explicitly listed on my resume. The whole process was smooth and everyone was super friendly.
