The online submission was really long and asked for way too much info upfront. I had an initial phone screen with a recruiter. About a week later, I got set up for a 2-hour call, which was broken down into 45 minutes with the hiring manager, a 15-minute break, and then an hour with a panel. The longer call seemed to go great. After that, they mentioned they'd reach out about references, but it's been almost 4 weeks and nothing. The recruiter also isn't responding to emails anymore. It's super unprofessional to just get ghosted after what felt like a final interview round.
I went through 3 phone interviews, they said they were in a hurry to hire. All three went well, but then I waited. And waited. And waited. 2 weeks later I emailed the recruiter to check in, who said they were still finalizing things. A month later, I got an auto email, the same one that anyone who applied would have gotten, saying they went with someone else. It was quite off putting.
It was an easy interview with the whole team so they could check out how everyone on the team interacts. The questions were mostly about your phone skills and your ability to organize and prioritize tasks. It was more like a casual chat than anything else.
