It was a casual, fun, and very kind interview. They wanted to know why I wanted to work there, and specifically for the department I applied to. Overall, a very pleasant interview process.
The interview wasn't too hard, and the most important thing was that you explained why you wanted to work at Aperture specifically, over any other foundation. The staff was really nice, and since it's an internship, they were very understanding during the interview.
It was a pretty straightforward interview process. Since I was in college at the time, they asked about my major and my prior experience in communications and photography. There was also an online part where I had to write short essays. I knew someone there, which I think helped me get ahead, as is often the case.
