I had to create a slide presentation covering my CV, my experience, and most importantly, what I would bring to the company and why they should hire me. First, I had an interview with HR, and then a second interview with both the hiring manager and HR. It took them two months to get back to me, and even though I followed up, the process seemed really unorganized.
The interview process was very technical. It involved one person from the analytical team and one from HR. The HR person asked typical STAR method questions, while the analytical representative focused on technical questions to assess proficiency and knowledge. While all parts of the process were pleasant, it was a bit slow, which is pretty normal for CRO/biopharma recruiting.
The interview process had 3 stages: an initial chat, an exam, and then a final panel interview. It all took about 2-3 weeks. I got the offer the very next morning after the last interview. Everything was straightforward, and the HR person was really nice and helpful.
