Met with the finance team about the role. It was a pretty standard interview where they wanted to know about my background and how it fit the job. They said I should use more technical terms and talk more about fund structuring.
I was invited to interview for a summer associate role while I was an MBA student. We had three interviews on campus, and one of them was with HR. Two of the three interviews were case interviews.
So first, there was a 1-hour modeling course. It was like, 3 statement modeling and you had to go fast cuz it was a lot. Then, I had a 30-minute interview with an associate where I had to walk them through my resume, tell them about a deal, do a paper LBO, and then they hit me with a few brain teasers.
