Candidate-reported interview process

First there was an information session and then a casual meet and greet. The actual interview happened the next day with two hiring managers who are engineers. They were super chill and it felt really relaxed and casual. Just be yourself and show them you're eager to prove your skills. Make note of key points from the info session and bring them up later in the interview.

Apache is a big oil company that looks for big skills. The interview process had four senior staff members ask technical questions for about 45-60 minutes. They didn't let me ask any questions after they finished. Also, their time management was bad. I had two other offers when I interviewed, one from a consulting firm and another from a different oil company. I told them I needed to know by a specific date, and they said I would be advised no later than then. I didn't hear back until 5 days after my deadline. They were very rude and disorganized.

I found the job posting on my University's website. I attended an information session, and then interviewed the next day. Everyone was really nice and made an effort to make me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the internship wasn't for a long enough period, so I had to turn it down. I would definitely consider working here in the future though!
