The interview was a really bad experience. The team lead who interviewed me was rude and condescending, and even ate during the interview while barely paying attention. I was expecting a call from HR about whether I passed, and if so, I would receive a take-home assignment. A few days later, I got an email with the take-home assignment, which was quite large. I decided not to do it, partly because I initially missed the email, but mostly because I didn't want to proceed after the interview with the team lead. Nobody actually called me. About two weeks later, they did call to ask why I hadn't submitted the assignment and if I had any questions.
The interview process involved two technical interviews with company members, an interview with the CEO, and one with the previous VP R&D. There was also an HR interview, meetings with the team I'd be managing, and a graphology test in Tel-Aviv. Finally, references were checked (three references).
it started with a phone call with HR, then a technical interview. after that, I was given an assignment to build an app that uses the iTunes API to get the top 10 searches, using MongoDB and NodeJS. they gave me plenty of time, but I never got any feedback.
