Anyscale (CA) Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

There were five rounds total. Each round was with the hiring team, apart from the System Design round which was with the CTO. There were two rounds focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), one round on System Design, one round on Debugging, and one final round with the Hiring Manager. The difficulty was moderate and matched the job description well.

The interview process involved a few rounds: a coding interview that included discussing optimizations with Ray, an ML-focused interview, a chat with the hiring manager, and a technical presentation. Overall, it was a good experience, and the recruiters and interviewers were helpful, though the whole thing took quite a while.

I went through two technical interviews for this role. Both involved reasonable live coding problems that were directly related to the job. The interviewers were all fair and helpful.
