Candidate-reported interview process

I went through a two step interview process. First I talked with the Store Manager, then I spoke with the District Manager. They asked me questions about my leadership, merchandising, and selling experience. Each interview was about 30 minutes. At the end, I had to do an activity where I built an outfit and explained how I'd sell it.

The interviewer was smart, personable and relaxed. We interviewed outside on a chilly day near a dusty area where Christmas decorations were being arranged. My face and hands were cold and I suffered with PND during the entire interview.

It was an in-person interview at the store. It was a relaxed conversation, and we ended up talking for a while. I really clicked with the store manager at the time, and we had a very natural chat about me and my background.
