I talked to HR first, then the Senior furniture designer. After that, they sent me a project to work on, and then flew me out for an in-person interview.
I got screened heavily, both online, over the phone, and in person. Anthropologie headhunters have called me before, and this time it was through a referral. I had to submit a design project that took about 40 hours. It was pretty disappointing because I got zero feedback on it. I'm really frustrated and won't be wasting my time with them anymore.
The interview happened at one of their stores after closing. Two managers interviewed me. There were about 15 people there applying. It felt like a good and supportive environment, and I had a good time overall.
