Candidate-reported interview process

had an interview at around 7 pm. The Hire Manager on the first round, ask you to introduce your self and ask you how to handle previous job, ask some professional knowledge. You have to use English to answer some of the questions.

It was an easy interview, started with a self introduction and then they asked me questions about my CV, like my last job, my experience, and skills. I had to speak Mandarin, English wasn't really necessary. I got the offer two weeks after the interview.

The hiring manager, who has been with the company for over 10 years, wasn't very friendly and seemed stressed, not paying much attention. They emphasized long working hours and gave vague answers about work-life balance. A preference for Chinese speakers was mentioned early on, which was a bit confusing given the interview process. While the company might look good on a resume, I'm not sure it's the right fit for me.
