Candidate-reported interview process

They started with an HR phone screening. Then, there was an interview with two engineers (one manager and one senior R&D engineer). The first call was about 15 minutes long, and the second call lasted between 45 minutes to an hour.

I applied online, and then had an online interview. The interviewer started by telling me about their research interests and current projects. After that, they asked me about my previous research projects. There was no coding interview. I received an offer a couple of weeks later, but had to decline because of a scheduling conflict.

They shortlisted based on CGPA, no online assessment, then went straight to interviews. Very few people got offers. Not a nice experience due to the very low stipend and no perks, even though it's an MNC.
