Candidate-reported interview process

Went through five steps: first a phone screen, then a chat with the hiring manager, after that a technical test, then a conversation with a Senior Engineer, and finally a meeting with a Senior Manager. Got good vibes from everyone until the very last meeting. The conversations were great and I met some great people, but ended up getting a generic rejection email with no explanation.

It started with a 20 min hr phone screening checking basic qualifications. Then, there was a technical interview focusing on string parsing and tree structures. The next round was also a technical interview, this time covering data science and machine learning without any coding.

I went through a HR screening, then a pre-panel interview with 3 people, and finally a 5-person panel interview. They didn't tell me to present my work before the panel interview, which was disappointing.
