Ankrom Moisan Architects Interview Questions

Applied for the role and got invited for a phone screen. The email subject was “Request to Phone Screen.” They requested to “schedule a brief 30-minute phone conversation.” We scheduled it for the next morning. The meeting title was “Ankrom Moison Discussion.” The next morning, I waited for the call. After 9am, I noticed a Teams link in the meeting invitation. I joined quickly, unprepared for a video call. I mentioned my expectation of a phone conversation. As they concluded, they stated they would inform me either way in the coming days. It's been weeks and I've heard nothing back. The whole experience was messy and unenjoyable, which is surprising given my own recruiting background.

Applied online and got contacted for an interview within a couple days. I had a 30 minute zoom interview, which was pretty straightforward. They mentioned they needed to fill the role fast and expected a quick follow-up for the second round. However, I never heard back, and my attempts to reach out to the HR contact and staff member I spoke with were unanswered. While I understand if I'm not the right fit, it feels unprofessional not to inform candidates when they're not moving forward.

It was a Zoom interview, and they were really nice and made me feel welcome. We mostly just chatted, and they told me what the job would be like day-to-day.
