The interview process took about 2 months and I ended up with an offer but declined for another firm. They asked about general questions about my resume and what classes I took.
I asked HR about the interview type and was told it would be conversational, not structured. However, the Zoom interview turned out to be structured. Also, HR didn't mention I'd be speaking with another HR rep, as I thought it was only with the hiring manager. The overall process felt disorganized.
It was a total of 3 interviews, and the whole thing was pretty unprofessional. After going through several rounds, the full-time job turned out to be a contract role with a $30k pay cut from what we initially agreed upon. The final interview was just a rapid-fire technical questions session. I answered them all well because I know my stuff, but the whole process was irritating. I ended up declining the offer and confirmed what people in St. Louis have been saying for years about this company – there’s a reason they’re always hiring.
