Candidate-reported interview process

The interviewer starts by introducing themselves, then I introduce myself. We then discuss the differences between `new` and `malloc` in terms of nature, principle, size, and failure. Next, we cover the three key characteristics of object-oriented programming and where the virtual table is located (constant area). Finally, we talk about the construction and destruction order of base classes and subclasses: construction goes from base to subclass, and destruction is the reverse.

First, we had a 15-minute initial screening over the phone with an HR person to go over your general work history and see if you'd be a good fit. They asked about your past experience, what salary you're looking for, and when you'd be available. Then, there was a 45-minute technical screening online with a senior developer. This part involved some live coding to tackle an algorithm problem and also talking about projects you've worked on before.

It was a nice and easy process, not much hustle. The interview was laid-back and included DSA questions, web development questions, and questions about programming languages and projects I've worked on. Overall, it was a good experience and I wanted to share it.
