I had two 30-minute video calls with senior designers and a director. I talked about myself and showed two projects from my portfolio. It ended with a Q&A about the job. It was a really nice experience and conversation with the team.
The first interview was a video call and it went well. Then they flew me out for a second round of interviews. My first was a call with the director who said I wasn't experienced enough. I had to then go to headquarters for the in-person portion where I was asked to give a presentation which wasn't warned about in advance so I had to wing it. Had another group video interview after that and with two more to go, they finally said that they had decided I wasn't experienced enough and I could leave.
The interview process was good! I felt like I got to understand the company more while they got to learn about me. The interview itself was pretty typical, not super difficult.
