Candidate-reported interview process

I applied online and first spoke with the recruiting manager, mostly to confirm my resume details. Then I had a call with the hiring manager. It was a good chat, mostly basic questions about my past experience and how it relates to this job. There wasn't a strict format, which made it a really smooth conversation.

I had a phone interview first, and then two in-person interviews. Everyone was really nice and didn't waste my time. Each interview was about 20 minutes, and the last one was with the VP of product. About a week later, they gave me an offer that was what I expected.

Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, we had a 15-min phone call. Then a 1-hour call with the hiring manager. Finally, a 4-5 hour panel interview at the office with several team members. This was a long interview process, maybe too long for the panel interview. The whole experience felt negative because I never heard back, which lacked professionalism and respect for my time. I'm glad I didn't get an offer.
