So the whole thing took like 2-3 weeks and had five steps. First up was HR, just a quick 15 min chat about you, when you can start, and what you want salary-wise. Then, a 60-90 min online test with Java coding stuff like Collections and Stream API, some SQL, and a tiny REST API task. After that, two tech interviews, each about 45 min. The first one covered core Java, OOP, multithreading, and Spring Boot REST/Hibernate. The second tech round went into microservices, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Jenkins for CI/CD, and basic Angular. Finally, a 30 min chat with the manager or HR to go over projects, recent changes, any production problems, your career plans, and to sort out the final salary.
