Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process involved a mix of technical and behavioral questions. They asked a market sizing question and wanted to hear about challenges, analytical experience, how I deal with coworkers and clients, and failures I've had and how I overcame them. They also asked about calculating marginal ROI, using Excel, and my proficiency with SQL.

I put in my application online for the Sydney office role. After they checked my resume, they called me for a phone interview. Then I had a panel interview with the hiring managers.

I heard from negative reviews that the 'tool' they use is based in Excel and you should plan on working at least 70 hours when the project goes south, with an average work/life balance of about 50 hours a week. I was also told that I would probably not understand what I am doing for 18 months during the interview.
