Candidate-reported interview process

Applied via LinkedIn and after two months, got a call from HR. A phone interview was scheduled, which lasted for about 1 hour 30 minutes. It covered basic questions about embedded systems, C programming, and RTOS.

So, first up was this technical interview where we talked about microcontrollers and I explained how they work and where they're used. Then, another technical round came up, this time all about Object-Oriented Programming, seeing if I could design and build stuff that's modular and can scale. After that, I had an HR interview, which was more about seeing if I'd be a good fit overall – you know, communication, teamwork, how I handle things, not just the tech stuff. It was a solid three-part process to check out my skills and see if I'm a good match.

The interview process was quite amazing. They only shortlisted 3 people from the online round. I was feeling optimistic, but then the other 2 people went to the second round and I was asked to leave. I was interviewed for 1 hour, but the other person was interviewed only for 25 minutes. I don't know how he was shortlisted and I wasn't.
