The interview process had 4 rounds all focused on my technical experience. We discussed my past roles and the technologies I've utilized. There wasn't a coding interview for this position. The first round was with the team, the second with the extended team, the third with managers, and the fourth was a final approval.
We started with an HR screening, then a meeting with the controller, and finally a joint session with HR, the Controller, and the CFO. It was pretty straightforward, no tough behavioral questions. I had to complete a test on a platform to assess decision-making speed.
The interview process felt pretty standard, and everyone I interacted with was nice. However, the recruiter's lack of communication after the initial contact is concerning and makes me question how they handle employee relationships. It's disappointing not to receive a rejection in a timely manner. After looking into company reviews, I think I might have avoided a negative experience. Also, companies that refer to themselves as 'family' often give me pause.
