I first chatted with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. A month passed with no word, so I followed up with the hiring manager. They told me someone else got the job, but the recruiter never let me know. This isn't the first time; it's happened three times with Amwell Talent Acquisition.
The interview process was very straight forward. It moved pretty quickly and within a few weeks I had a very fair offer for the position and my qualifications. They did a good job at determining my previous experience with open career options.
The interview process was quite lengthy, involving four rounds and interviews with 11 people, plus a presentation. While the interviewers were generally professional and enthusiastic, the process felt excessive for the role. There were also some ageist comments from senior staff, and the HR rep was inconsistent with follow-ups. Despite meeting some great team members, these issues make me hesitant to reapply.
