Candidate-reported interview process

This company has a terrible culture, and they expect you to work yourself to death for very little pay. They were not willing to offer a salary that matches the market rate for this position. Even though I received an offer, I declined it. The recruiter was constantly calling me.

I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and then a call with the regional director who I would report to. After interviewing with the regional director, they made their decision. The whole process was pretty straightforward and easy.

So, this company has a pretty long interview process. You gotta do like 4-5 phone interviews first, before they even let you come in for an in-person. When you get there, they give you this 'assessment' thing, which honestly doesn't really test your chemistry knowledge at all. After that, they take you to a conference room to talk with a lead chemist.
