I went through several interviews that were pretty straightforward and organized. We talked a lot about my past experience and how it fits with Amur's security plans for the future. Everyone I spoke with was nice, professional, and really interested in what I had to say.
Laurie was very pleasant and professional in helping me navigate through what Amur could offer and what may align with my experience. I do appreciate her time and consideration, she was great! I did accept another job offer for another company before I was able to interview but I will definitely follow up if anything changes in the future.
I applied through LinkedIn and after an initial phone call, I had a 90-minute in-person interview that included an office tour. The vibes were good and they said they'd follow up soon. However, two follow-up emails I sent went unanswered. Nine days after the interview, I got an automated rejection email from their Paylocity account, which was a generic message. There was no personal follow-up or feedback, which felt disrespectful given my experience level and was a red flag about their corporate culture.
