Had two video interviews that were about an hour each on two separate days, plus an HR screening call. This was for a remote role, so the process might be different now.
The interview process included a staffing interview, an SVP interview, a VP interview, and a Director interview for a non-managerial role. The initial staffing interview lacked specific details about the position. The subsequent interviews with Amscan management were positive and conversational, with a focus on cultural fit. There was a significant emphasis on technical understanding. For the portfolio review, while strong production skills and process are crucial for most artist roles at Amscan, the reviewers highly valued the candidate's concepts and ideas.
First there was a phone interview, and then an in person interview with three different people. It was pretty conversational and the vibe was really welcoming. About a week after, I got an offer via email and negotiated with the recruiter.
