Candidate-reported interview process

Got the interview scheduled pretty fast. Then I had an hour-long interview with the hiring manager. Didn't hear back after that. It seems like a solid company, pretty much like other smaller CROs.

It was smooth and they kept me informed. It began with a call from the recruiter, and then there was a final interview with a group of supervisors. I felt totally fine asking whatever questions I had as we went. The interviewers also did a solid job of telling me what the job was actually like during the interview.

I was contacted by the IT Director for an interview and he was enthusiastic about meeting me. He scheduled an onsite visit, and I had to work extra hours to make it happen. However, he later canceled the meeting without explanation, not even replying to my email. I found this to be very unprofessional and feel like I avoided a bad situation.
